Hridayapoorvam (2025) :

Hridayapoorvam, directed by Sathyan Anthikad, is a touching Malayalam family drama that stars Mohanlal as Sandeep Balakrishnan, a cloud-kitchen owner who has recently survived a heart transplant. Eager to honour the memory of the person who gave him a second chance at life, Sandeep travels to Pune to attend the engagement of Haritha (Malavika Mohanan), the daughter of his heart donor.

During his visit, Sandeep develops a deep emotional bond with Haritha and her mother, Devika (Sangita Madhavan Nair). What begins as a gesture of gratitude blossoms into a journey of healing, compassion, and rediscovery, as their shared pain and affection quietly transform all three of them.

Supporting him throughout is Jerry (Sangeeth Prathap), a kind-hearted nurse whose presence adds warmth and humour to Sandeep’s story. The film also features seasoned actors Siddique, Lalu Alex, Janardhanan, and Nishan, enriching the narrative with their heartfelt performances.
