Ratsasan follows the story of Arun Kumar, played by Vishnu Vishal, an aspiring filmmaker whose dream of making movies takes a backseat after a string of failures. Forced to take up a job as a police officer, Arun soon finds himself at the center of a terrifying case involving a series of brutal murders of schoolgirls.

As he dives deeper into the investigation, Arun begins to piece together the horrific pattern behind the crimes. His relentless pursuit of the killer puts him at odds with senior officer Kishore, portrayed by Ramdoss (Munna), and endangers those close to him, including Viji (Amala Paul) and her niece Kayal.

The tension builds as Arun finally uncovers the shocking identity of the murderer—Christopher (Saravanan), a deeply disturbed man whose traumatic past drives his cruel obsession. In a race against time, Arun must stop Christopher before more innocent lives are lost, leading to a nerve-racking and emotional climax.
