Titli (2014) :

Kanu Behl’s Titli is a stark and gripping family-crime drama that dives deep into the underbelly of a dysfunctional household. The story centers on Titli (Shashank Arora), the youngest in a family of car thieves ruled by his overbearing brothers Vikram (Ranvir Shorey) and Bawla (Amit Sial). Tired of their violent world and yearning for freedom, Titli dreams of breaking away to build a better life.

His plans, however, take an unexpected turn when his brothers arrange his marriage to Neelu (Shivani Raghuvanshi), hoping that a wife will keep him under their thumb. But Neelu, with her own hopes and disappointments, refuses to play along quietly. As the two begin to understand each other, Titli glimpses a fragile possibility of escape—from both his family’s grip and the suffocating world they inhabit.
